Lower Dolpa Trek
Lower Dolpa trek is the trek to the lower part of Dolpa "The biggest district" of Nepal. This trek takes you to the largest National Prak of Nepal Shey Phoksundo National Park which has covered 3,555 km2 area. It is only the transhimalaya national Park in Nepal. The deepest Lake of the country is also located in this national park. This national park is rich in bioligical diversity, unique transhimalayn ecology as well as natural beauty. it is the habitat for the endangered wild spicies such as snow leopard, wild yak, tibetan antelop and wild ass. Trek to this region also offers you to observe unique landscape, typical rural lifestyle, preserved buddhist culture and some ancient monasteries in the himalayas.
Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu (1400m)
Day 02: Sight seeing in Kathmandu
Day 03: Fly to Nepaljung. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Morning fly to Juphal (2550m) by plane trek to Dunai (2150m). 3-hour walk
Day 05: Dunai - Tharakot (2700m) 5h.
Day 06: Tharakot - Lahini (3200m) 5h.
Day 07: Lahini - Naure Odar (3100m) 6h.
Day 08: Naure Odar - Dho (4000m) 6h.
Day 09: Dho. Acclimatization day.
Day 10: Dho - Camp at 4100m (before the pass) 5h.
Day 11: Camp at 4100m - Nun La Pass (5360m) - Camp at 4200m 6h.
Day 12: Camp at 4200m - Bagla La Pass (5090m) - Roman (3800m) 5h.
Day 13: Roman - Ringmo (3510m) 2h.
Day 14: Ringmo - Pungmo (3500m) 5h.
Day 15: Pungmo - Lasa (4100m) 5h.
Day 16: Lasa - Kagmara La (5115m) - Kagmara Phedi (4000m) 6h. Overnight at camp.
Day 17: Kagmara Phedi - Toijem (2920m) 4h
Day 18: Toijem - Kaigaon (2650m) 5h. Overnight at camp.
Day 19: Kaigaon - Chaurikot (3060m).
Day 20: Chaurikot - Mauri Lagna Pass (3820m) - Chatra (3380m) 6h
Day 21: Chatra - Gotichaur (2650m) in 5h.
Day 22: Gotichaur - Jumla (2300m) in 5h
Day 23: Fly to Nepalgunj and to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.
Day 24: Free day For Rest / shopping. Overnight at hotel.
Day 25: Departure.
