    • Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

      Welcome to Nepal. Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, our team greets you with warm Himalayan hospitality and transfers you to your hotel in Kathmandu. In the evening, meet your climbing guide for a detailed briefing followed by a traditional Nepali welcome dinner.

      Begin your adventure with a scenic drive through rolling hills, terraced farmlands and winding river valleys. Enjoy glimpses of Ganesh Himal and the Langtang range as you reach Syabrubesi, the starting point of your trek.

      Your trek begins with a gentle climb through beautiful forests of bamboo, oak and rhododendron. Walk beside the Langtang River, cross suspension bridges and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature as you ascend to Lama Hotel.

      The valley gradually opens as you gain altitude. Pass through Ghodatabela and enjoy your first clear views of Langtang Lirung. Continue toward Langtang Village, a charming Tamang settlement surrounded by high ridgelines and grazing yaks.

      Today’s short and scenic walk takes you through wide meadows, mani walls and prayer wheels. Arrive at Kyanjin Gompa, the spiritual center of Langtang, where you can explore the ancient monastery and visit the famous yak cheese factory. Glacier views dominate the horizon in every direction.

      Spend the day exploring the high valley. Choose a hike to Tserko Ri for a breathtaking panorama or walk toward Langtang Glacier for a quieter acclimatization outing. Return to Kyanjin Gompa to prepare gear for the climb ahead.
